Network Systems & Solutions

The Network Systems & Solutions Division (NSS) provides structured cabling solutions for voice, data, and video applications. Copper and fiber optic cabling systems are areas of specialty. We provide solutions ranging from design/build projects to ongoing maintenance (moves, adds, and changes).
    We are strategically located to service every major metropolitan area in the United States. Each local and regional office is fully staffed with trained technicians who understand that voice and data network reliability is crucial.
    Our National Accounts group meets the unique needs of clients with multi-site / multi-state projects. As a contractor with a true national footprint, we execute nearly 90% of our work with technicians directly employed by Henkels & McCoy. Centralized project management provides 24x7, single point-of-contact coverage and streamlined communication.

    For government customers, Henkels & McCoy has two contract vehicles available for use. Our General Services Administration IT Services Contract (GS-35F-0651K) has been used by many satisfied federal agencies (list available upon request). We are also partnered with L-3/EER Corporation on the ANSWER Program (GSO9K99BHD005), which provides an even broader array of services. Henkels & McCoy also supports the Small Business Administration with our growing Small Business Program.

Network Cabling Solutions
We provide structured cabling resources for voice, data, and video applications. We render solutions ranging from design/build projects to ongoing maintenance (moves, adds, and changes).

Communications
We arrange to increase the speed and quality of communications, through inside structured cabling and outside plant installation. Henkels & McCoy installs complex cabling systems into a wide range of structures and environments.

Engineering
The Engineering Division designs fiber optic communication systems, complex voice data, and video systems, and supporting infrastructure. We have the resources, knowledge, and creativity to transform vision into reality.

Training and Certification
The Training Services Division provides technical and management courses. We have developed customized training solutions, and hands on training. Henkels & McCoy is an organization committed to excellence.

Notable Achievements

A project in 2000 involved the surveying, cabling, and reinstallation of network hardware at 17,000 individual locations requiring 45,000 site visits throughout the country in a 42-week timeframe.

We are responsible for the largest webwork of IT Communications and Data Flow in the world as part of a ten year project to re-wire and re-cable the Pentagon. This project (in conjunction with General Dynamics), began in 1999 and involves over 25,000 separate users and 135,000 network connections.

On an annual basis, we perform tens of thousands of service related calls as well as the installation of miles of communication cabling (copper, fiber optic and co-ax cable).
