Henkels & McCoy emergency restoration teams were dispatched to multiple locations throughout the Northeast in response to the December ice storm that left over one million people without power. All told, more than 175 workers were deployed to assist in areas of critical need in New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts.

It is at times like this that we gratefully acknowledge our people who perform this challenging work as well as the thoughtfulness of residents who contact us amidst difficult times. One such letter appears below:

To Whom It May Concern:

I couldn't let this opportunity go by without sending off this email. I hope it reaches the appropriate staff.

I am a longtime resident of Townsend, Massachusetts and want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to your crew who made the trip up here to help our town restore power. They are incredible human beings and myself and my neighbors are extremely grateful that we are able to return to our homes with our families and will be able to enjoy the holidays.

I wish them all a safe journey once their work is done here and a happy Holiday Season.
