Henkels & McCoy's Project Management (PM) efforts are reflective of a company culture that understands customers' needs for ever-expanding services and the systematic delivery of those services within a robust PM structure. H&M's Project Management Methodologies document the formalized procedures, processes, and systems necessary to ensure maximum performance and accountability.
At Henkels & McCoy, Project Management is more than a niche discipline. It is interwoven into the fabric of the company. Our Corporate Training Department has a well-established relationship with ESI International and the George Washington University to provide online PM training. Functionally, this training is open to a wide variety of H&M employees, not just those with operational responsibilities. To date, 471 H&M employees have enrolled in one or more of these courses; 124 have received Associates Certificates; and 43 have earned Masters Certificates.
The Project Management Institute's Project Management Professional (PMP) credential is the profession's most globally recognized and respected certification credential. To obtain PMP certification, an individual must satisfy educational and experience requirements, agree to and adhere to a Code of Ethics, and pass the PMP Certification Examination. At present, Henkels & McCoy has nineteen PMPs on staff.
The knowledge gained through PM education and the application of H&Ms Methodologies is applied throughout the customer relationship, from bid response through project closing. The result: H&M is in prime position to meet the demands associated with expected future trends toward larger, more complex projects, increased competitive factors, and our own expectations of world-class service.
