Success Story
We bring a pledge of operational excellence to each and every project we undertake. It is especially gratifying when a project we participated in receives recognition.
In 2010 we had the privilege of completing a ground mount solar array project for the Carlisle (Pennsylvania) Area School District (CASD). We invite you to access the story of this initiative as originally published in our Performance newsletter.
In addition to a 2010 Governors Award for Environmental Excellence documented in the article, CASD subsequently earned similar recognition in 2011.
In terms of industry acknowledgement, CASD received a Photovoltaic Project of Distinction Award in recognition of major achievements in the U.S. solar energy market at the PV America show in Philadelphia on April 4, 2011.
The CASD initiative was one of three projects to receive this award, presented by the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA). |
This Project was financed in part by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,
Commonwealth Financing Authority. The Project was also funded by the Pennsylvania Energy Development Authority using monies from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. |
